the core of Cress's culinary philosophy lies the premise
that by starting with the freshest and highest quality
ingredients, a well-trained chef is able to meld flavours
in amazing ways that might otherwise be impossible.
In keeping with this philosophy, Cress
Restaurant draws much of its produce
from its own organic garden (the Cress Garden) in
DeLand on the site of Planted
Earth Vegetables ® where local farmer and
master gardener Nize Nylen is able
to grow incredibly flavourful and exotic vegetables,
fruits, and herbs specifically for Cress. |
